Originally commissioned for power play studios New York in the 80's, Power Play Studio's produced 120 gold and platinum records. 75% of them were done on this console.
During its time at Power Play Studio this console recorded chart busting hits for Salt N Pepa-Chaka Khan- Rakim-Nas -Fat Joe- LL Cool J- Public Enemy-The Tea Party- Run-DMC-and Jay-Z.
After its life at Power Play It is believed that Suge Knight was purchasing this board through Eric B who was going to head up Death Row East
This board now lives at the Cavern Sound Studio and Is a piece of history, It is currently being fully re-capped, all by Rob Squire from Pro Harmonic, It will re-commissioned and Installed in 2018

A lock out at Cavern Sound Studios with an in-house engineer starts from $550 a day , local bands and regular rehearsal customers will pay no more than $500 a day with an engineer.
An hourly rate at Cavern Sound Studios with an in-house engineers starts from $80per hour with a three hour minimum charge

Approved engineers can use the studio for $350 for an 8 hour day. Engineers who haven't used the studio before will be required to pay $100 per day for a tech on duty (TOD) to assist.
